New Sheffield Homes Enquiry Point Opens It's Doors In Firth Park
Sheffield Homes and Sheffield Libraries has officially opened a new customer enquiry point for Sheffield Homes customers. This new partnership between Sheffield Homes and Sheffield Libraries means that customers will be able to catch up on a little reading and check out some library books as well as access the latest housing information and Property Shop newspapers.
Director of Housing Management, Janet Parry, explains, "We are always looking for new ways to improve the services we offer our customers, so we are delighted to be opening an additional access point in Firth Park. We carried out extensive consultation with local residents and have received very positive feedback about this new service."
Sheffield Homes customers will be able to access a wide range of services including being able to talk to Sheffield Homes’ Customer Service Assistants and use the free telephone service to pay rent or request repairs.
Visitors to Sheffield Homes’ enquiry point will also be encouraged to take advantage of the extensive library facilities including its computers, which visitors can use free of charge, or take out a library book, CD or DVD.
Cllr Tim Rippon Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Culture and Planning at Sheffield City Council said: "The addition of a Sheffield Homes enquiry point goes to enhance the service provided at Firth Park Library. The library is a focal point and hub for the local community and it is great that we can work together with Sheffield Homes to create a one stop shop for local residents".
