Sheffield Homes welcomes Woolworth's boost for rent payments
Woolworths have informed us that, until further notice, they are no longer accepting bill payments in their stores. allpay.net is working closely with Woolworths and their administrators at this time and we will notify you of any changes to this situation as soon as we can. Customers wishing to pay over-the-counter can continue to use the extensive Post Office and PayPoint networks which both accept cash payments.
Sheffield Homes customers now have even more ways to pay their rent thanks to a new scheme which means customers can pay their rent at Woolworth stores nationwide
Sheffield Homes issues each of its 40,000-plus households across Sheffield with a swipe card and these can now be used to pay rent over the counter at any of Woolworth’s 800 stores nationwide. Customers need only hand over their swipe card, together with payment in cash or with a debit card.
Customers already have a range of payment options including direct debit, online, via an automated telephone payment line, at the Post Office or at any store displaying the PayPoint or PayZone sign but this latest move means that they have even greater choice and convenience.
Maxine Stavrianakos, Head of Income Management at Sheffield Homes says: "We are delighted that we can offer our residents even more ways to pay their rent in a place that is convenient to them. With Woolworths coming on board it increases the opportunities for customers to stay on top of their rent commitments."
Woolworth stores locally can be found at 17-19 The Moor, 16 Middlewood Road and Poplar Way, Catcliffe, Rotherham.
