Prizes for tenants - 22 February 2005
Sheffield Homes is introducing two prize draws for tenants who pay by direct debit or have clear rent accounts. The draws will be held annually. Twenty prizes of £50 shopping vouchers will be awarded in each draw.
Cash taking to continue at most Area Housing Offices - 17 February 2005
Following extensive consultation with tenants representatives the Sheffield Homes Board of Directors has decided to continue cash taking at most Area Housing Offices.
Half Term Street Art Project at Wincobank - 14 February 2005
Sheffield Homes is sponsoring a half-term Street Art Project between 10.00am and 3.00pm on the 14, 15 and 16 February at the Wincobank Washouse, Merton Lane. A mural will be created as the culmination of a project by local young people to improve a derelict, overgrown area outside the Washouse.
State-of-the-art e-system supports housing project - 24 January 2005
A state-of-the-art project management system is supporting contractors in Sheffield as they carry out the largest housing investment programme in the country. It tracks and logs project progress and allows contractors to remotely update details such as labour, costs and timescales on individual houses.
Exhibition trailer hits the road - 21 January 2005
Work is now underway on the multi-million pound housing investment programme in Sheffield. An exhibition trailer has been fitted out to tour the city, giving tenants a flavour of what they can expect when their property is improved as part of the Decent Homes programme.
Tenants decide repairs priorities - 20 January 2005
Around 200 tenants attended Kier Sheffield LLP’s recent customer conference. Working with Sheffield Homes, the aim of the day was to agree ten commitments, suggested by tenants, for Kier to work on over the next two years.
