Make a difference in Sky Edge and Manor
Attention all Sky Edge and Manor residents.
Sheffield Homes would like to help local residents in Sky Edge and Manor to set up their own Tenants and Residents Associations. There are currently 121 homes in Sky Edge and 421 homes in Manor that do not have a TARA to represent them.
What does a TARA do?
Tenants and Residents Associations (TARA’s) are key in helping to bring the community closer together for the benefit of everyone living, working and visiting the area. They also:
- Work in partnership with other organisations to help develop services in the local area and city-wide
- Help organise community events
- Keep other residents up-to-date with what’s happening in the area
- Plus much much more
Setting up a TARA is one way to make your voice heard and make a real difference to the community. Sheffield Homes have successful TARA’s all across Sheffield. Don’t miss out. We can even help you set up a TARA with a start up grant and offer support throughout the whole process so you’ll never be on your own.
