Sheffield Homes presents a week of summer fun - 27th August 2008

Sheffield Homes and its Decent Homes partners; Kier Sheffield, Lovell Partnerships Ltd, Keepmoat, Wates Living Space and Henry Boot Construction sponsored a Week of Summer Fun for young people in areas where Decent Homes work is taking place.

Open Day at Mount View Lodge - 27th August 2008

Sheffield Homes’ Sheltered Housing Scheme, Mount View Lodge at Derbyshire Lane, Norton Lees, will be opening its doors to the public on Thursday 4 September from 3pm to 5pm for a Get Involved Open Day! The invite is open to the tenants' families, local community groups and older residents from the area.

Bus Tour Highlights Environmental Changes in the North of the City - 21 July 2008

Sheffield Homes organised a bus tour for members of the local Tenants’ and Residents’ Associations (TARA’s) in the north of the city. The tour gave staff the chance to show the TARA reps, along with Area Board members, the range of environmental works that have been carried out across the whole of the north area over the last year.

Sheffield Homes donation helps Hope volunteers to dig deep – 21 July 2008

Sheffield Homes has helped the Sheffield HOPE 2008 project ‘dig in deep’ and give a makeover to two communal gardens in the Batemoor and Jordanthorpe areas of the city, by donating gardening equipment worth £200. Staff from Sheffield Homes Area South West Team were also there to help with the gardening; picking up their spades and forks to join the HOPE volunteers.

Budding superstars sing their heart out in S-Factor finals - 7 July 2008

Budding Sheffield superstars took to the stage at the Megacentre in the finals of the Sheffield Homes ‘S Factor’ competition. Sheffield Homes asked local youngsters to put their song writing skills to the test and produce a rap or song that would raise awareness of the dangers of playing on building sites.

Lovell Reading Challenge a whole new ball game for Sheffield pupils! - 4 July 2008

Sheffield-based affordable housing and regeneration specialist Lovell has joined forces with Sheffield Homes and Sheffield United Football Club to help youngsters from four schools in the city improve their reading skills.
