16 Liberty Place set for visitors!
A Stannington council house is set to be the most sought after property in the area.
16 Liberty Place has been unveiled as the benchmark for the future of social housing in the area and thousands of local residents are set to visit it in the future weeks and months
The property, officially opened by local residents Rose Stevenson & Gordon Stead in front of councillors and Sheffield Homes' employees together with a visiting delegation from Bassetlaw Council, has been renovated to Government's Decent Homes standard and boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen, bathroom and much more.
Local tenants are being invited to visit 16 Liberty Place to see the high standard of refurbishment they can expect in their own homes in the future.
There'll also be able to find out more information about the Decent Homes programme and how it will benefit them.
Sheffield Homes' Area Manager Surjan Tiwana said: "We're asking every tenant in the area to visit 16 Liberty Place so they can see, first hand, the high standard of work they can expect in their own homes over the coming months and years. The property will be permanently staffed so there will always be the chance to ask questions about such a massive undertaking for the area."
