Keepmoat deliver festive cheer to elderly residents

Sheffield Homes Decent Homes partner, Keepmoat Ltd, have spread festive cheer to a group of elderly residents in Sheffield just in time for Christmas.

Working with Dryden and Kyle Tenants and Residents Association, (DAKTARA), Keepmoat staff delivered a total of 57 Christmas hampers in the Parson Cross area.

Andy Mann, site manager for Keepmoat, said: “We like to get involved with the communities in which we work and wanted to give the residents we have worked with something special this Christmas. We are also set to hold a children’s Christmas party– we don’t want anybody to miss out.

“This year I volunteered to dress up as Santa and deliver the hampers with other members of the team – we all had a great time!”

Gary Lund, Decent Homes Project Manager, Sheffield Homes says “ Keepmoat place a strong emphasis on supporting the local community where they are working and it’s great to see them distributing Christmas goodies in this way and helping to make sure that local residents get festive treats.”

Keepmoat is one of seven construction partners involved in the Sheffield Decent Homes programme to refurbish and improve selected homes across the city.
