Sheltered Residents Raise Money for Lord Mayors Charity

Sheffield’ Lady Mayoress Kathleen Chadwick and residents from Newgate Close Sheltered Housing Scheme will be coming together to raise money for the Lord Mayors Charity.

 

On Wednesday 12th September, some of the residents from Newgate Close in High Green will be holding a cake stall for other residents and older people from the local community, from which proceeds will be donated to charity.  The Lord Mayor will also be dropping in to enjoy a cake and cup of tea with the residents.

 

Newgate Close Sheltered Housing Scheme provides 80 one and two bedroom flats for elderly residents as well as a community centre where communal activities are held.
