Going Digital
The East Investment Team will also be covering the digital switchover citywide within Sheffield. This digital upgrade is currently ongoing and you will be notified prior to start of works.
As most of you are aware the government is committed to achieving digital switchover between 2008 and 20012 on a phased region-by-region basis. This may sound like a long time away, but upgrading communal TV systems can take considerable time. Owners and managers of buildings with communal TV systems need to start preparing for digital switchover now. Please note this work only applies to communal blocks.
As part of the Decent Homes work, we will try and include this digital switchover as we complete your home improvements. You will receive further information on this closer to the time, informing you what to expect.
