Translations and Interpretations

What translation or interpretation services are available?

Telephone interpreters

A telephone interpreting service is available.  We call an interpreter who is trained to interpret conversations between your language and English, and have a 3 way telephone conversation.

This service is available at any of our in person access points and if you contact us by telephone.

It is most suitable for standard enquiries and short interviews.

In Person Interpreters

Where an interview has been arranged in advance we can book a trained interpreter to attend in person.

This is preferable to using a telephone interpreter for longer and more in depth interviews.

Written translations

All of our standard leaflets are available in the 14 most commonly used community languages.

Other documents can be translated as required.

Please ask our staff if you need any of these services.
