How To Get Involved
As a Sheffield Homes customer, you probably have something to say about the services we provide.
Whether you are pleased with what we do or have suggestions for improvement or change, we need to know about it. And one of the best ways to make yourself heard is by getting involved.
Here are some of the ways you can join in:
- Magazine editorial group. You can help us make sure our magazine "In Touch" is easy to read and help suggest stories.
- Coming along to public meetings
- Getting involved through tenant groups
- Completing a questionnaire
- Taking part in a discussion group
- Going on an Estate Walkabout with an estate services monitoring group – these make recommendations on priorities for improving the environment on estates.
- Become a “Mystery Shopper” to look at our customer services and recommend improvements
- Joining a project group if the homes in your area are being improved
- Becoming a tenant Director or Area Board Member of Sheffield Homes - Elections of tenants are held every year for these posts – contact the Governance Team to find out more on telephone 0114 273 4417.
- Getting involved in a tenants group at your Sheltered Housing Scheme - Contact the Sheltered Housing Team on 0114 203 7602
You can get involved as little or as much as you like but we can promise you one thing – we will listen to what you have to say.
Please tell us how you would like to get involved by filling in as much information as possible on the form at the bottom of this page.
You can print it out, fill it in and return it to us at the freepost address - Community Engagement Team, Sheffield Homes, Freepost NEA 5527, Sheffield S1 2XX - or drop it in at any of our area offices.
For more information about getting involved, contact the Community Engagement Team on 0114 273 5566.
