Are you a person who prefers to do things and find out exactly what happens rather than sitting in meetings?   Yes?  Then becoming a Mystery Shopper could be for you!
 
We’ve just completed our first phase of Mystery Shopping with 21 shoppers from across the city being trained. Here is some of the feedback from the training:

What is Mystery Shopping?

Mystery Shopping is about tenants testing out frontline services as any customer would. Mystery Shoppers make enquiries by telephoning or visiting housing offices in person; it’s your choice.

Who can be a Mystery Shopper?

Almost anyone.  We are looking for enthusiastic tenants who can attend a day's training, use a telephone, read and complete a simple questionnaire.

What’s in it for me?

We will train you and provide a Mystery Shopping Manual and all materials.  We will also pay travel and carer expenses, if required.
 
When you’ve completed five Mystery Shopper questionnaires we will send you gift vouchers for a range of shopping outlets.

What happens then?

We will compile all the results from the mystery shops and produce an action plan to tackle any areas of the service which your involvement has identified as a problem. Mystery Shoppers will be invited to comment on these plans. We’ll also report back to all tenants in In Touch, Sheffield Homes' quarterly magazine.
