Area Investment Working Groups

These Area group provide a forum for TARA Representatives and Area Board Members to get involved in and contribute to all aspects of local investment. These groups meet monthly.

The specific activities of each group will include:

• Receiving performance monitoring reports on all aspects of the Investment Service
• Contributing to the development of specifications and service standards
• Participating in site visits and quality inspections
• Working with the Area Team on investment planning and options appraisals
• Contributing to, and monitoring the progress of service improvement initiatives
• Assisting with the establishment and management of project groups
• Giving feedback to the Repairs, Maintenance and Investment Partnership Group
• To develop and agree local tenant participation in investment activities
• Assisting in the development of tenant choice within the investment service

Open to: Each of the partnership groups needs to have representation from the following:

• TARA Representatives from each estate plus three Area Board members
• Representatives of the Area Housing Investment Team
• Representatives of contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders invited as and when considered appropriate by the group
• TARA Representatives are limited to two votes per TARA
