If you are suffering harassment or anti-social behaviour you can report it:
Harassment (especially racially-motivated harassment) is against the law, as are certain types of anti-social behaviour. Incidents should be reported to the Police as soon as possible after they have occurred. We will work closely with the Police to share evidence and take the necessary action.
Your report will either be taken by one of our customer service officers or by a member of the ASB Team. If it is taken by a customer service officer, it will be reviewed by a member of the ASB Team within one working day to consider what action can be taken.
What if I need to report something outside office hours?
If you need to report an incident outside office hours, you should use the 101 service (Dial 101). Staff will involve the Police if necessary and will pass details of the incident on to us to follow up with you.
If it is about noise nuisance, details will be passed to Sheffield City Council’s Environmental Protection Service, who may be able to send out an officer to witness the noise and advise the person responsible.
Both 101 and Environmental Protection Services will forward details of your report to us the next working day and we will contact you to follow it up.
Who can report harassment and anti-social behaviour to us?
We will deal with all complaints from anyone about council tenants.
If you are a council tenant and your complaint is about someone who is not a council tenant, we will investigate the case on your behalf, take action when we can or refer the case to the appropriate organisation (for example a housing association).
If you are not a council tenant and your complaint is not about a council tenant, we can give you advice on what to do next.
