Decent Homes environment work

Sheffield Homes has been consulting with tenants to plan £10m of environmental works which compliment the Decent Homes Programme and improve the neighbourhood where you live. This includes improving security, lighting, communal areas and green spaces on estates.  

Originally the programme was due to complete by March 2011.  The programme is being adjusted to mirror the extended Decent Homes programme and will now complete in 2013/14.  The priorities for this extended environmental work have been agreed by the Area Boards across each area of the city.

Between January 2010 and April 2010 tenants representatives and Area Boards were consulted on the revised programme priorities and the order of work.
