Do I need permission for an exchange?
The landlord of everyone involved in the exchange must agree to it. Also, we strongly recommend that you view any new home to make sure you are happy with it before you apply to swap.
Before we can agree to any exchange, we must check that:
- You qualify for the size and type of property you wish to move to
- Your rent account is clear and there is not a possession order on your home for either rent arrears or antisocial behavior
- Your home is in a satisfactory condition
