What are the benefits & costs?

You benefit from good quality housing, security with peace of mind, independence and a support plan, as well as company when needed and help in any emergency.
A weekly rental charge, where applicable, goes towards heating, hot water, communal heating and the City Wide Alarm (new window) system. An additional support charge covers a warden service, but if you receive housing benefit this is waived. If you are on a low income, you can be rated under the Fair Charging Assessment to see if you are entitled to assistance.
You will receive help and advice on claiming Welfare and/or Housing Benefit at the start of your tenancy. |
