What is an Area Board?

As well as our Board of Directors, we have established six Area Boards and a Sheltered Housing Board.

Each Area Board is made up of five tenants, four independents and two council appointees.

What do they do?

The Area Boards take their lead from the Board of Directors and are primarily responsible for:

• Local Service Planning
• Local Investment Planning
• Local Tenant Participation
• Local Performance Monitoring
