How we work with Kier Sheffield

Since 2004 we have worked in partnership with Kier Sheffield LLP to provide a repairs and maintenance service for council homes across the city.  This partnership between Kier Group and Sheffield City Council is the UK’s largest contract of its kind and has resulted in significant service improvements. 

New technology and improved working practices have led to a more flexible and efficient service - and we are always looking for further ways to improve. Our customers help us by getting involved with Action Planning Groups, where they give feedback and suggestions on what we're doing or planning to do.

Kier Sheffield LLP is also one of the contractors responsible for delivering the Decent Homes programme, a huge multi-million pound refurbishment scheme.

The partnership brings about many social and environmental benefits for Sheffield residents. Disadvantaged groups such as young people, single parents and care leavers are given the opportunity for training, education and employment through various programmes and Kier Sheffield LLP has been recognised nationally for the innovative schemes it provides, especially for training and environmental matters.
