Moving home
For information on what to do if you are about to move out of a council property see the leaflet Moving Home.
The leaflet includes information on:
- The required four-week notice period
- Returning the keys
- Making sure your rent account is up to date
- Leaving things tidy and removing all belongings, furniture and carpets
- Making sure that you can keep any pets in your new home and making arrangements for them if you can't
