The housing repairs service
Information about what council tenants should do if any repairs are needed to their homes is in the leaflet "Repairs to your home". The leaflet is available from all Area Housing Offices. Or you can download a copy from this page.
The leaflet includes information about:
- How tenants can report their repairs - by phone, in person, in writing or by text message
- The details tenants need to give when reporting their repairs
- How soon different types of repairs are carried out once they have been reported
- How to report emergency repairs outside normal office hours
- Types of repairs that Sheffield Homes will not carry out
- What tenants can do if repairs are not done on time or if their belongings are damaged
