Investment Services Group - Repairs and Servicing
Sheffield Homes works with contractors to repair council homes across the city.
We deal with repairs that tenants report to us - these are known as responsive or day-to-day repairs that someone will need to attend to, including out-of-hours emergency repairs.
There is also regular servicing work, which takes place on many estates every year. Some of this is carried out to every home each year, whereas other work is done over a period of years.
It includes:
- External Repainting (including minor repairs carried out before repainting)
- Yearly servicing of district heating
- Servicing door entry systems
- Servicing household electrics
- Servicing lifts and stairlifts
- Yearly servicing of gas and solid fuel appliances
