Tenants Wanting to Alter or Improve Their Home.
Tenants must have written permission from Sheffield Homes to alter or improve a council property.
This includes:
- Putting up any form of extension or building
- Adding to, changing or replacing the fixtures, fittings and appliances provided by us
- Altering essential gas, electricity and water services
- Putting up a radio or television aerial or satellite dish
- Decorating the outside of your home
- Removing internal walls
It is your responsibility to seek and get any planning or building regulation approvals.
