Disposal of Bulky Items
If you have access to transport, you can dispose of bulky items at one of Veolia's Household Waste Recycling Centres (page opens in new window).
Veolia also offer a bulky item collection service free of charge to Sheffield Homes customers. Up to 10 items can be disposed of per visit. Your collection will take place within 17 working days. Veolia will collect large household items such as sofas, chairs, mattresses, tables etc from your property.
If you live in a house
To arrange for Veolia to collect your bulky items from your home, please call 0114 273 4567. You should leave your items in a place that can be accessed by the collections team.
If you live in a flat or maisonette
Many large blocks of flats and maisonettes have a dry store facility in which you can place your unwanted bulky items. If there is no dry store in your block, please contact Sheffield Homes for advice on how to dispose of your bulky items.
