'Choices Not Barriers' Disabled Persons Housing Strategy

Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Homes have jointly produced a strategy which looks at housing-related issues for disabled people in the city.

Choices Not Barriers includes actions and targets to improve access to housing services for people with a physical or sensory impairment, mental health problem or learning disability.

We review the strategy every year and produce a new action plan. The next major review of the strategy takes place at the end of 2005.

You will find a copy of the Choices Not Barriers strategy at the bottom of this page.
