Information About You

Sheffield Homes records some personal information about its customers.
Occasionally, we like to check the information we have is up-to-date, and fill in any gaps.

Why do we record this information?

We use this information to make sure our services are fair and meet your needs.
For example, some ways in which we might use the information you supply on whether you have a disability are:

  • to know whether you need extra assistance before we contact you
  • to see which parts of our service tenants with disabilities complain about, or give us praise about
  • to plan services to meet the needs of disabled tenants in the future

The information provided will not affect the outcome of applications or decisions on any housing service you might request or apply for

What information do we keep?

The full list of questions we ask are your date of birth, gender, ethnic origin, whether you have a disability, if you do not speak English, your religion and any extra assistance you may need when you meet with us.

What do we want you to do?

At the moment this is for tenants only.

We want you to complete the attached form and email it back to us at enquiries@sheffieldhomes.org.uk or fax it to 0114 2736637 or post it to:
