Area Board

There are Area Boards in areas where tenants voted in favour of an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO). Each is made up of five tenants, four independents and two council nominees.

Area Boards are responsible for local service planning, investment planning, tenant participation and performance monitoring.

In April 2007 all current Area Board members resigned and a new Area Board was formed.
