The Margate Estate is set a set of flats located on top of a hill, just off Grimesthorpe Road. It is quite far from many amenities and receives only infrequent buse.

Investment

As part of the decent homes programme, the properties in the area will under go improvement, particularly to kitchens and bathrooms, around 2010-2011.

There is a cash machine located on Ellsmere Road and one on Spital Hill, inside The Ozmen Supermarket. Please note that the machine in The Ozmen Supermarket charges a fee. There is also a cash machine on the Wicker - this also charges a fee.

The number 4 bus goes to Margate, but only every two hours.
