Area Board

There are Area boards where tenants voted in favour of an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO). The Board is made up of five tenants, four independents and two Council nominees.
Area Boards are responsible for local service planning, investment planning, tenant participation and performance monitoring.
Here are the current members of the East Area Board:
- Tenants: Tony Newbould, Maureen Wilson, Pauline West, Ann Bentley, David Hoad
- Independents: Stuart Smith (Chair), Colleen Eccles, Richard Wildgoose
- Council nominees: Alan Law and Ibrar Hussain
We currently have hold a vacancy for another Independent member within the East Area Board.
