Service Plan Summary - East Area

Each Sheffield Homes housing area produces an annual Service Plan, which describes what its priorities are for the coming year and what it plans to do over the next 12 months.  The plans reflect the views of tenants in each area as well as the targets and priorities set by the Government.

our key priorities for 2007/08

  • Continue to roll out the Decent Homes programme across the remainder of the area.

  • Improve the quality of life for all residents by having a robust approach to the management of tenancies and estates, but particularly anti-social behaviour.

  • Improve the appearance of estates by having a rigorous and planned approach to managing the environment and blocks of communal flats and maisonettes.

  • Engage with all sections of the community by developing a comprehensive programme of community engagement events and opportunities

  • Development of a new access point for the Firth Park/Brightside area following the closure of the Verdant Way office later in 2007.

  • Ensure our front line customer service is excellent and that our business support systems, which underpin everything we do, are robust and fit for purpose.
