ANSA has around 355 members from the parts of North Area that do not have a TARA.
ANSA includes representatives from three local Tenants and Residents Associations (TARAs) in North Area and three representatives from other estates that do not currently have a TARA.
ANSA aims:
- To represent the views of tenants and residents in the North Sheffield area, including those that do not have a TARA eg. Chapeltown, Grenoside, Thorpe Hesley.
- To help existing TARAs and to assist in the formation of new TARAs in the area.
- To work with Sheffield Homes, the council, the police and other agencies to help develop plans to improve homes and neighbourhoods.
- To campaign for additional resources to help tackle problems and to improve the area.
ANSA produces at least three newsletters per year to TARA members and to other people in North Sheffield that pay the annual contribution (10p per week for tenants or £5 per year for resident members). Versions of ANSA's Summer 2006 Newsletters are available to download at the bottom of this page.

ANSA held their AGM at the Burncross scout hut, Burncross Road, Burncross on Friday 11th April 2008 at 1.30pm.
