25th January 2008 - Burn's Night
The Four Greens Centre, Longley held a Burn's Supper on the 25th January 2008 at 7pm. This was a formal evening with traditional Scottish poetry, music and a three course meal (wine included).
30th October 2007 - Longley (Local) TARA General Meeting
The venue was the Four Greens Community Centre, Four Greens, Southey Avenue
on Tuesday 30th October 2007 at 6pm. There was a raffle and a buffet.
The official opening ceremony of the new 4 Greens Centre at Southey Avenue took place at 2pm on Friday 21st September 2007.
Guests included the Right Honorable David Blunkett MP, the Lord Mayor Councillor Arthur Dunworth and Lady Mayoress Councillor Kathleen Chadwick and Brendan Ingle MBE.
LOCAL held a competition to name the hub in April and Longley resident Holly Ibbotson's suggestion '4 Greens Centre' won. The Centre is home to the 4 Greens Cafe and the building also includes community rooms, meeting space and offices.

Longley TARA's AGM took place on Thursday 29th March 2007 at 6.30pm in the Graves Room at the Four Greens cafē, Southey Avenue.
