Getting involved - North West Area
Participation
Sheffield Homes is committed to giving customers a real say in their housing service. Involvement means that tenants and residents can be involved in shaping the decisions that affect them, their homes and their community.
We provide a wide range of ways to get involved – you can do as little or as much as you want.
Community Engagement
Community engagement means working with whole communities as well as tenants and challenges us to work in a more creative way on issues that matter.

Tenants and Residents Associations
Tenants and Residents Associations (TARAs) work with Sheffield Homes on issues they are concerned about. They also organise activities to improve their area or estate. Becoming a member of your local TARA will help give you a voice in key decisions that affect housing services where you live.

Tenant Liaison Officers
Each TARA has a Tenant Liaison Officer who acts as a first point of contact between the TARA and Sheffield Homes. They will be able to advise you on your local TARA and how to contact them.
