South East Housing Area
Welcome to the part of our website dedicated to providing information and news to tenants and residents living in the South East area of Sheffield. This includes the communities of Ballifield, Basegreen, Beighton, Birley, Charnock, Frecheville, Hackenthorpe, Halfway, Handsworth, Hollinsend, Intake, Mosborough, Owlthorpe, Richmond Hall, Ridgeway Road, Scowerdons, Severnside, Sothall, Spinkhill, Stradbroke, Thornbridge, Waterthorpe, Westfield and Woodhouse.
The area housing offices located in South East Sheffield are Crystal Peaks First Point and Woodhouse.
Because homes in this area are managed by Sheffield Homes, a Area Board is in place to oversee local service planning, investment planning and tenant participation.
The Board is made up of :-
- Five tenants
- Four independents
- Two council nominees.
In April 2007 all current Area Board members resigned and new Area Boards were formed.
Below are the members of the South East Area Board:
- Tenants: Trevor Bamforth, James Mann, Roy Coles, Eric Staniland & Kath Davis
- Independents: Mavis Sellars, Brian Wrigley (Chair), Norman Sellars & Margaret Wilson
- Council nominees: Marjorie Barker & Brian Lodge
