Untaxed Vehicles - Partnership Working
Sheffield Homes has been working closely with the Police, Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency(DVLA) and Street Force to help remove untaxed vehicles. This was over a two week period and two days were dedicated to removing untaxed vehicles. Fifteen untaxed vehicles were removed and taken to a compound.
To report any untaxed vehicles contact DVLA on their hotline number of 08000 325202 or for further details see their web site (new window).
Any untaxed vehicle that is on land maintained by public expense can be removed. If you require your vehicle to be untaxed you need to complete a Statutory off road notification (SORN) Form to inform the DVLA that your vehicle will be off the road. Your vehicle must only be parked on private land, which does not include any council land.
Cleaning Services
We have a cleaning service on the blocks of flats within the South-East Area. We visit blocks of flats on a quarterly basis, cleaning the internal communal areas, removing graffiti, moss from drying areas and self-set weeds and plants from the vicinity.
The feedback received from the residents has been extremely encouraging. We have had a lot of praise and thanks for the hard work which has been completed by the team. We will be informing the Tenants and Residents Associations with details of when we will be working in your area. If you have any feedback on the service provided please contact Gail Parker on 0114 2053333 via the South Call Centre.
